Ingredient

Details

Water

Deionized purified water tested for quality and purity according United States Pharmacopeia standards.

Glycerin

Derived from plants, this humectant works to hydrate the skin by drawing moisture from the air into the skin’s outer layer.

Petrolatum

Improves skin barrier protection and provides deep moisture to the skin.

Mineral Oil

Forms a lipid barrier that reduces the loss of water from the surface layers, and contributes to keeping skin soft and smooth.

Cetearyl Alcohol

Derived from plants, this wax-like compound is a natural emollient that improves the skin feel of the cream.

Ceteareth 20

Widely used in skin care products, it is an emulsifier that helps create our product’s overall texture and helps keep the oil and water ingredients from separating.

Arginine HCL

It is one of the constituents of skin natural moisturizing factor. It has hydrating and conditioning properties.

Sodium Chloride

Found in most tissues and body fluids and improves electrolyte balance.

Tromethamine

Actively regulates the pH balance

Calcium Chloride

Mineral salt used to maximize the potency of the Micreobalance.

Micreobalance™

Our hero ingredient, Micreobalance is a patented smart protein that rebalances the good and bad bacteria that naturally live on your skin, while moisturizing. Scientifically speaking, Micreobalance™ is an Endolysin SA. Endolysins are present everywhere on earth and act as nature's superheroes, policing the bad bacteria to protect the good. It has been proven safe in clinical studies.

Where is Gladskin Eczema Cream manufactured?

Gladskin Eczema Cream is manufactured in the United States in an FDA-registered, CGMP-compliant facility. Our ingredients are USP quality-grade.

What is Micreobalance™?

Good question! Scientifically speaking, Micreobalance™ is an Endolysin SA. Endolysins are present everywhere on earth and act as nature's superheroes, policing the bad bacteria and protecting the good. The Micreobalance in Gladskin helps restore balance to the skin microbiome while providing deep moisture. If you're interested in learning more, check out the Science page on our site.

At what temperature should I store Gladskin Eczema Cream?

We recommend storing Gladskin Eczema Cream between 32° F and 75° F to help maintain the ingredients' effectiveness and keep your cream in tip top shape. That being said, Gladskin is resilient and can withstand exposure to temperatures of up to 104° F for up to seven days straight.

Tip: Store Gladskin in your refrigerator, a sure-fire temperature-stable environment!

Does Gladskin Eczema Cream expire?

Gladskin is preservative-free, so to ensure its effectiveness it’s best to use the product within 3 months of receiving it if stored at room temperature or by the stamped expiration date if refrigerated. You can find your cream's expiration date printed on the bottle.

Does Gladskin Eczema Cream contain lactose or gluten?

Gladskin contains no lactose. Gladskin contains Colloidal Oatmeal, which is inherently gluten-free, but may be processed in a facility containing gluten. If you'd like to request an oatmeal-free bottle of Gladskin, feel free to reach out to us at hello@gladskin.com, we're happy to help with your order!

What bottle size is right for me?

Because everyone's skin is different and you’re welcome to apply Gladskin as often as you’d like (thanks to our gentle ingredients!), it’s hard to say how long one bottle will last you. That said, a good rule of thumb is: for trouble areas smaller than a fist (for example, if you’ll apply mostly to your face) or if you plan on using Gladskin no more than once a day, our 50 mL bottle should do the trick. For larger parts of the body like your arms and legs, our 100 mL is likely a more appropriate size.

When can I expect to see results?

Many people experience relief in the few days of using Gladskin, but for some it can take up to 3 weeks of consistent use to experience the full effect. We'd recommend using Gladskin daily as a proactive maintenance product even if you are not currently experiencing a flare-up. For best results, apply Gladskin to clean skin and wait at least 10 minutes before applying other products. You're often to apply it as often as you'd like, there's no way to overdo it!

In rare cases, some first time Gladskin users' eczema symptoms may temporarily worsen before getting better. Any discomfort should be mild and is usually an indication that Gladskin is beginning to work. This should improve within 10 days, often much sooner. This said, you know your skin best and if you’re concerned your reaction is possibly allergy-related, we'd recommend checking in with your doctor.

Where can I apply the Eczema Cream?

Gladskin Eczema Cream is gentle and safe to apply eveywhere externally, including to the face, scalp, eyelids, and other sensitive areas. The only places we don't recommend applying Gladskin are to mucuos membranes such as inside the eyes, nose, mouth, ears, and any deep cavaties.

How often can I apply the Eczema Cream?

We recommend applying Gladskin 2 - 3 times per day to start out, but you're welcome to apply it as often as desired! Gladskin is gentle and works as a great moisturizer, there's no way to "overdo" it.

How do I get the product to come out of the pump the first time I use it?

Gladskin Eczema Cream is preservative-free, which means our packaging is air-free. It can take up to 30 pumps (sometimes more!) to get the product to come out when you first start using your Gladskin Eczema Cream. Note: The piece of plastic that looks like it's sealing the nozzle is actually a part of the packaging, so please make sure this stays intact.

Can I use the Eczema Cream with other products?

Yes! You're welcome to use Gladskin along with other products. For best results, we recommend applying Gladskin first to clean skin and to wait at least 10 minutes to let the cream sink in before applying your other products. We also recommend starting with our preservative-free Body Wash to minimize disruption to your skin microbiome.

See the list below for descriptions of each ingredient and it's purpose in Gladskin.

Ingredient

Details

Glycerin

This plant-derived humectant works to hydrate the skin by drawing moisture from the air into the skin’s outer layer.

Decyl Glucoside

Derived from plants, this soap alternative promotes lather and gently cleanses the skin without stripping away moisture, making it ideal for sensitive skin.

How is the Body Wash different from the Eczema Cream?

Our Body Wash was created to support the good work of the Eczema Cream with Micreobalance. Since the Body Wash is preservative-free, it doesn't disrupt your skin microbiome.
